Allan Plenderleith is author and illustrator of

selling children's picture book, The Smelly Sprout, as well
as the illustrator of 'What Does Santa Do on Boxing Day?'
and 'The Little Person's Book of World Records'.
He is the creator of the
CBeebies show, Gordon the
Garden Gnome and the best-selling greetings card
range, The Odd Squad and is the author of over 30 books.
He was born in East
Kilbride, Scotland and studied
at Glasgow University before moving to England
where he worked in advertising and met his wife
Rebeccah. They have two BIG children, Max and Tilly.
