The question of what time is best for study is very common among all students. Almost every other time a student is faced with a pile of homework that should be completed before the next class, which might be the following day very early in the morning. The question of whether the student should stay up late and finish the assignment or wake up very early in the morning to attempt it comes up again. The best study time varies among individuals but studying at night has been seen to be more beneficial.
Stay away from destructions
Nights are very calm and quite, it will be only you and some wild birds outside awake, this provides a very conducive study environment unlike during the day when the world is very active and loud. Also a larger number of your friends will be asleep and less activity on social media hence very minimal destructions.
The library is almost empty by the time school closes, most students spend all day in the library and are already tired by this time and moving out. If you the type that cannot concentrate with music and television at home, then this is the best time for you. The library will be all yours and can make the best out of this alone time in the library with very minimal movements and destructions.
Making the best out of your time
Studying at night gives a student a feeling of urgency. This means that the he or she will concentrate and focus more because they have limited time. This is unlike the day when one thinks they have all the time on earth. Studies have shown that most information is retained from night study than in the morning.
After a night study the information is very fresh on the students mind when he or she retires to sleep. A study by NCBI, says that during sleep the brain picks up information worth remembering and puts it in practice. This improves the student’s creativity and helps them see concepts from a different angle.
More concentration energy
The blood sugar is high after the night meal; this provides the student with more energy to concentrate and focus unlike in the morning when blood sugar is very low, and the students has little energy to concentrate. In addition to this, melatonin is very high during morning hours which cause sleepiness according to National sleep Foundation. This means most students are waking up to study in the morning fall back to sleep.
Joy of sleep
When one completes the studies and homework as per planned, a great sense of satisfaction and joy befalls then, and enjoys the best sleep ever as the mind absorbs the information that has been gone through. Great sleep means enough relaxing and one wakes up very fresh and full of energy to face the new day. This is unlike a bad day for a student who planned to complete their homework in the morning but over slept and failed to complete the homework.
